Matthew's insatiable interest in jewelry began with his mom and grandma, inspiring him to create ELIBURCH in 2022, which combines the names of each of these influential women. His love for texture and weight is typically highlighted in most of his designs and pieces, with zig zag details that represent his winding and non-traditional path in life with a background in medicine, education and jewelry design. Personal expression influenced by art, nature, and ancient objects have always absorbed their way into ELIBURCH designs in order to cultivate a wearable art experience.
